Welcome to xSMP: survival with just the right amount of vanilla.
We’re not here to reinvent the wheel: Minecraft is a beautiful game and we have no interest in twisting it into something that is unrecognizable. On xSMP, the original Minecraft spirit stays intact: people are free to do as they please, build what they like, protect what they build, on any gaming platform of their choosing. Whether you play on Java Edition on PC, or on Bedrock Edition on console/mobile. we are proud to bring everyone together to enjoy this game we all know and love.
On xSMP expect a sense of community, think of players not as your competitors but as your neighbors. With our semi-centralized gold-based economy, just about anything you need can be traded within a few minutes of mining for gold. And if you want a more automated way of making passive gold, we offer a /shop to sell farmed goods and miscellaneous materials. Enjoy a few modern creature comforts like /tpa to teleport to your friends, /rtp to teleport to somewhere random, two /sethome and /home to set teleport points to your most important places, /claim to protect up to 10 chunks of your land from griefers, and even /ki to toggle KeepInventory for yourself so you can skip the hassle of retrieving your items after death.

You can also mine spawners with Silk Touch, so multi spawner zombie, skeleton, blaze, and spider farms are possible! We also have a few custom enchantments as well to make life easier, like Excavation to mine 9x as fast, Sunforged to auto-smelt ores, and Deforestation to cut down trees instantly. We also recently implemented a Teams system so players can band together and pool their bases, resources, and even gold together.
Outside of making the game easier with features and economy, the premise is not much different from Minecraft Vanilla: play online with your friends, chat with other people in-game text, or over voice via our Discord server, and just do whatever you want to do. The only limit is your imagination, just as Minecraft was meant to be. There is no one way to “win” on this server, you can be rich, you can make super extravagant builds, you can do whatever you want to do that makes you happy.
